Vinay Singh is currently serving as the H1 Area Director of District 126. He has been a Toastmaster since 2016. At the Club level, he served in various Ex-comm roles such as VP Membership and VP Public Relations. He finished his Competent Leadership track in no time with the right mentorship and guidance from his seniors. Under his leadership in Ben’s Toastmasters Club, he organized various PR events for spreading the word about Toastmasters in Franklin Templeton and was able to attract over 200+ (L1, L2 level employees) for a very successful Extempore Speech Contest in 2019. The club achieved a magical number of 40 members first time ever when he served as VP-Membership. He also took part in various Toastmasters Contests and won a couple of them at Area levels. 

Vinay is currently a member of the Center Stage Toastmasters Club (Wells Fargo India). According to him, Toastmasters is not just about public speaking and leadership, it is way beyond that. Only those who are into it, know about it. Having served in various roles to serve the Toastmasters community, he says that “Life at Toastmasters begins at the end of our comfort zones”, which means that unless we are ready to take that dive into the ocean of learning, we cannot learn to swim and grow. 

Vinay Singh is a Lawyer and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Holder. He currently works as VP – Lead Compliance Officer at Wells Fargo, Hyderabad. Prior to this, he worked in investment firms like Franklin Templeton and banks such as ICICI and Royal Bank of Scotland in various roles and stints.
