Charan is currently serving as the District Public Relations Manager of District 126. He has been a Toastmaster since Sep 2018. At Club level, he served in various Ex-comm roles such as President, VP Education, VP Membership, VP Public Relations, and Treasurer. He is currently serving as the Secretary of his club. He served as an Area Director in District 98 for the term 2021-22 and as a Division Director in District 126 for the term 2022-23. Under his leadership, Division H achieved Distinguished Division status.
Charan is currently a member of Oracle Hyderabad Toastmasters in Hyderabad. For him, Toastmasters is a laboratory in which he can experiment and validate his ideas on leadership and communication. He believes that the inundated presence of opportunities, selfless helping nature of mentors and an eternal existence of positive environment in Toastmasters collectively are what make Toastmasters a place where people can learn to lead and grow. Professionally, Charan works as a Senior Application Engineer at Oracle, Hyderabad. Prior to this, he worked as a System Engineer for TCS for 5 years and as a Business Development Associate at Byju’s, Bangalore. He is an eternal MBA aspirant – He scored a 98.59 percentile on CAT, 327 on GRE and 740 on GMAT. In his free time, he likes to read articles on literature, philosophy, and finance. “But there is a paucity of free time in my life now”, he says.
